Recently, a topic titled “Kim Soo-hyun in this video acted so pervertedly that I remember it” was published on the Korean forum theqoo, drawing huge attention with almost 160,000 views and over 500 comments. The topic in question attached a video where Kim Soo-hyun appeared alongside U-KISS member Kevin Woo, who was 19 at the time.
Specifically, in 2009, Kim Soo Hyun was the MC of the music show “Boys & Girls Music Countdown” Season 3 alongside KARA member Han Seung-yeon. In an episode of this show, Kevin appeared as a guest, and Kim Soo-hyun was alleged of making various questionable comments towards Kevin, to the point many people accused the actor of sexual harassment.
In particular, at around the 1:10 mark of the previously mentioned video, when Kevin talked about crying while looking in the mirror, Kim Soo-hyun suddenly said, “But your way of talking is really cute”.
Kevin, who had a soft and sweet voice, seemed to be taken aback by the comment, and everyone started to look awkward, while the subtitle said, “Soo-hyun, what’s wrong with you…”. In fact, the male actor even started stroking Kevin’s hand, raising eyebrows.
Then, at around the 3:25 mark of the video, Kim Soo-hyun mentioned that Kevin feels good to touch as he came from San Francisco. To this, Han Seung-yeon answered, “What are you saying?”. The subtitle at the time also highlighted the weirdness of the remark, saying, “Soo-hyun… Kevin is still young”.

Meanwhile, Kevin (Korean name Woo Sung-hyun, born in 1991) is a Korean-American singer and actor, as well as a former member of the boy group U-KISS. Before joining U-KISS in 2008, he was part of the group XING. With his sweet voice and fluent English skills, Kevin served as the main vocalist and was the group’s representative at many international events.
Beyond music, Kevin also worked as a host for Arirang TV’s “After School Club”, helping connect K-pop fans worldwide. In 2017, after nearly a decade with U-KISS, Kevin left the group to pursue a solo career. He is currently active as a solo artist, participates in musical theater, and stays connected with fans through social media.
On the other hand, Kim Soo-hyun was recently entangled in a series of controversies after the family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron claimed that the two were in a relationship since Kim Sae-ron was a minor. They also later unveil images of Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun in intimate poses and a hand-written letter Kim Soo-hyun allegedly wrote to Kim Sae-ron during his enlistment.
