Kim Sae-ron’s Family Accuses Kim Soo-hyun of Sexual Abuse Since Middle School, Files Complaint

On May 7, attorney Boo Ji-seok of Law Firm BUYOU, representing Kim Sae-ron’s family, held a press conference and stated that a complaint had been submitted against Kim Soo-hyun for violating the Child Welfare Act and calumny.

The lawyer claimed, “It has been confirmed that from the winter break of Kim Sae-ron’s second year of middle school—when she was a minor—Kim Soo-hyun forced her to perform lewd acts and subjected her to sexual harassment and abuse.”

They reiterated that Kim Soo-hyun had dated Kim Sae-ron while she was still underage and added, “We are also filing the complaint for calumny, as Kim Soo-hyun attempted to make the bereaved family subject to criminal punishment.”

They also revealed that an anonymous whistleblower who refused to sell critical evidence for billions of won was violently attacked with a weapon, prompting them to request an investigation. They also requested police protection for both the bereaved family and YouTuber Kim Se-ui (Garosero), who has been releasing related content.
