On April 30, actor Kim Soo-hyun and his agency Gold Medalist filed an additional lawsuit and complaint against Kim Se-ui, operator of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, for violating the Anti-Stalking Act.
As previously announced, Kim Soo-hyun and Gold Medalist had already filed a lawsuit and complaint on April 1, 2025, asserting that Kim Se-ui’s ongoing and repetitive dissemination of false claims about the actor constituted stalking.
Based on these actions, the investigative authorities filed for a restraining order against Kim Se-ui on April 22, 2025, and the Seoul Central District Court accepted the request the next day, issuing a provisional order prohibiting him from engaging in further stalking behavior.
Kim Se-ui was formally notified of this court decision on April 24, but has since ignored it and continues to spread false information about Kim Soo-hyun through his YouTube channel.
Disregarding the court’s decision constitutes a punishable offense under Article 20, Paragraph 2 of the Anti-Stalking Act. Therefore, Kim Soo-hyun and Gold Medalist have taken prompt additional legal measures in response.
