Kim Sae-ron’s Family to Hold Press Conference Alleging “Serious Crime” by Kim Soo-hyun
On May 7, Attorney Boo Ji-seok from Buyou Law Firm, the legal representative for the bereaved family, announced that a press conference would be held at 2 PM in Seoul to address what they claim to be a serious crime committed by Kim Soo-hyun.
Speaking with YTN, Attorney Boo stated, “We will reveal the full details at the press conference. In addition to the serious crime, we also have evidence related to an underage relationship.”
In response, Kim Soo-hyun held an emergency press conference on March 31, strongly denying the allegations. He especially objected to the so-called “evidence” released via a YouTube channel by the family, claiming the content was edited and manipulated, and announced plans to take strong legal action.
Following this, Kim Soo-hyun filed a 12 billion KRW (~$9 million USD) lawsuit for damages against both the family and YouTuber Kim Se-ui, who operates the YouTube channel. Additionally, he filed a complaint under the Anti-Stalking Act against Kim Se-ui. The court issued a temporary injunction banning Kim Se-ui from engaging in further stalking behavior against Kim Soo-hyun.
