Meanwhile, earlier on the same day, Mr. A, the older brother of the late Sulli, gave a statement to Sports Kyunghyang, saying, “We have spent the past six years in deep sorrow and tears,” and requested that Kim Soo-hyun’s side provide explanations for the following 3 key issues.

  1. Why a bed scene, which was not originally in the script, was suddenly added during the filming of “Real” (2017).
  2. Why a body double, though reportedly present, was not used.
  3. Why it was falsely claimed that the body double was absent due to illness, when eyewitnesses say the double was in fact at the filming site.

Mr. A emphasized, “Although I heard many things at Sulli’s funeral, I’m only asking three fact-based questions and hope for sincere answers.”

Lee Sa-rang The Mysterious Figure Behind Kim Soo-hyun Controversy

Meanwhile, “Real” is a movie that was directed by Lee Sa-rang (Lee Ro-be) — Kim Soo-hyun’s cousin and co-founder of his agency, Gold Medalist. At the time of its release in 2017, “Real” received criticism for its poor quality and unnecessary nude scenes, including those involving Sulli.

Additionally, according to the late actress’ family, “Real” left a lasting impact on her mental health, to the point Sulli vowed to never star in another movie and began receiving psychiatric treatment.
