“Correct Answer Girl” Kim Soo-jung Shares Subtle Reaction to President Lee Jae-myung’s Election
On June 4th, Kim Soo-jung posted on her social media, selecting the song “Blue Land” as the background music.
The post featured lyrics from the song, including “Let’s try it together, everyone in the world hand in hand” and “With deep-blue hearts as one, let’s build a deep-blue country”, drawing attention.
Notably, this post was uploaded after Lee Jae-myung’s election victory was confirmed, leading many to interpret it as an expression of her political stance aligning with the newly elected president.
Kim Soo-jung made her debut in the 2008 KBS drama My Precious You. She received much love on the variety show Star Golden Bell as the “Correct Answer Girl” known for shouting “Correct!” She also appeared in dramas such as Two Wives, Pink Lipstick and films like Champ and Rainbow Playground.
After graduating from School of Performing Arts Seoul, Kim enrolled in Dongduk Women’s University’s Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment but later dropped out. Particularly in November of last year, she voiced her beliefs by sharing her participation in a petition opposing the university’s transition to a coeducational system, stating, “There are so many people in the world I can’t understand.”
While Kim has not explicitly commented on her political views, her social media activity suggests a nuanced expression of her perspectives in response to the nation’s political developments.
