Kim Sae-ron’s Side Responds to AI Claim, Vows to Stop Using Dubbed Voice for Informant A

The fierce battle between actor Kim Soo-hyun and the controversial YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute has reached a new peak, centering on an alleged attack photo and voice recording related to the late actress Kim Sae-ron.
On May 7, during a press conference in Gangnam, Seoul, Garosero’s Kim Se-ui and attorney Bu Ji-seok from Law Firm Buyou released a recording they claim is between Kim Sae-ron and an acquaintance, “A.” In the recording, Kim Sae-ron allegedly says she dated Kim Soo-hyun in middle school and had her first sexual experience with him during winter break in the second year of middle school.

But the shock deepened when Garosero claimed A was recently stabbed and implied possible involvement by parties linked to Kim Soo-hyun. They showed video clips and photos of A’s injuries, which they presented as evidence of the attack.
Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, immediately rejected the claims.

“The so-called ‘assault photo’ Garosero presented is an image easily found through an Internet search. It’s a completely false claim,” the agency said in an official statement, warning of impending legal action.

YouTuber Lee Jin-ho and LKB & Partners further confirmed the image was taken from the internet and accused Garosero of spreading misinformation and staging fabricated evidence.

Later that day, Garosero pushed back again via a livestream, criticizing Kim Soo-hyun’s side and vowing to no longer use dubbed voice actors for informant A.
“A was so enraged by being called a fraud that they left the hospital and filmed a new video at 4 a.m.,” Kim Se-ui said, releasing new footage.

In the video, A shows visible injuries and bandages, stating they were unable to fully remove dressings due to infection risk and limited mobility.

With lawsuits, countersuits, and conflicting narratives, the scandal is evolving into a legal and reputational war. Public interest remains high, but so does skepticism—on all sides.
Will truth emerge from this storm of accusations and viral claims? Only hard evidence—and time—will tell.
