“Kind-Hearted” Couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin Donate 300 Million Won for Children and Adolescents

Continuing their philanthropic efforts from 2023, the couple has once again extended a helping hand to those in need. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin donated 150 million won each to Asan Medical Center and the pediatric and obstetrics & gynecology departments at Samsung Hospital, totaling a contribution of 300 million won.

The couple expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to help others, stating, “We feel deeply thankful to be able to assist someone in need and wish to share even a small part of our hearts.” They added, “Every time we see our own child growing up healthy, we can’t help but feel an inexplicable sense of guilt thinking about children who aren’t as fortunate. We hope that children who are unwell can regain their bright, innocent selves and light up the world with their health and happiness.”

The donation will be used through Asan Medical Center to provide medical treatment for patients in challenging circumstances, and through Samsung Hospital’s development fund to support projects in the pediatric and obstetrics & gynecology departments.
