Korean Female Fan of Male Idol Arrested for Assaulting Airport Staff in Japan

According to the Japanese news outlet Mainichi on February 18th, a Korean female fan, referred to as A, was arrested on February 17th around 8:20 PM for interfering with public duties.

Reports indicate that A struck a male customs officer, B, in the chest with her elbow at the baggage inspection area of Fukuoka Airport’s international terminal. The incident occurred when B attempted to stop A from taking pictures of a Korean male idol in a restricted zone.

During police questioning, A denied the allegations, stating, “I wasn’t angry, and I didn’t hit him.”

The case is currently under investigation.
