KUSH and “Yuri’s Cousin” Vivian to Tie the Knot This October After 9-Year Relationship

Longtime couple KUSH and Vivian are officially headed for the altar. After nearly a decade together, the music producer and model-turned-producer announced that they will be getting married in October.

The couple first went public with their relationship in July 2016, revealing at the time that they had met through a mutual friend and had already been dating for two months. Now, nine years later, they are preparing to take the next step in their relationship.

KUSH, best known for producing major K-pop hits such as 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care” and Zico’s “Yanghwa Bridge,” began his career in 2003 as a member of the reggae duo Stony Skunk. He later built a reputation as a top producer under YG Entertainment before moving to THE BLACK LABEL in 2016, a label founded by Teddy. He also made appearances as a producer on Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 5.”

Aa graduate of Deokwon Arts High School with a major in flute, Vivian went on to study film scoring at Berklee College of Music. She is also known to be the cousin of Girls’ Generation member Yuri.

Vivian debuted in the entertainment industry in 2015 after placing in a modeling contest hosted by fashion magazine “Ceci.” She originally promoted under the stage name Vivian but later began using her real name.

Having transitioned into music production, Vivian recently appeared on Mnet’s “I-LAND 2: N/a” as a producer and has been working behind the scenes on music for rising artists such as Izna.

With both KUSH and Vivian establishing themselves in different corners of the entertainment industry, their upcoming wedding marks a new chapter in their long-standing relationship, one that fans have quietly cheered on for years.
