Kwak Si-yang “I Shed Tears On The Last Day Of Filming ‘We Got Married’ With Kim So-yeon”

Kwak Si-yang recently gained attention for his villainous cameo in SBS’s drama “Good Partner”. He shared, “The ratings went up a bit, and I received a lot of hate comments on Instagram, like ‘Are you even human?’ I found all the attention amusing and was grateful for it.” He even revealed that he posted an apology on Instagram in response to viewer demands, making everyone laugh.
Regarding the reason for his appearance in “Good Partner”, Kwak Si-yang smilingly confessed, “I’m a huge fan of Jang Nara. I joined her fan website ‘narajjang.com’, wrote posts there, and even traveled from Seoul to Busan for her fan signing event. When I told Jang Nara about this, she was shy but thanked me. I feel like I’ve achieved fan success.”
“I Want to Get Married, But…”
Kwak Si-yang reminisced about his time on MBC’s “We Got Married” with actress Kim So-yeon, saying, “Filming made my heart flutter. On the last day of shooting, I even shed tears because it felt like breaking up with a real girlfriend.” He then recalled, “Shortly after, news broke that she was getting married. I wasn’t invited, but I did congratulate her.”

He also revealed his thoughts on marriage, admitting, “I want to get married quickly, but the reality is I don’t have money.” He shared that he recently finished paying off debts at home and explained that his parents have been unwell, with significant medical expenses. He expressed his earnest wish, “I want to show my parents that I’m living happily.”
Kwak Si-yang described his ideal relationship, “I like listening to my partner and being led.” He added that, apart from watching baseball, there’s almost nothing he wants to do first. For a honeymoon, he mentioned wanting to walk the Camino de Santiago but cautiously noted, “It might not suit women and could be too difficult for them.”

Meanwhile, Kwak Si-yang ended his romantic relationship with actress Lim Hyun-joo last year after a year of public dating. While he had previously mentioned his desire to get married in an interview, he emphasized the importance of considering his partner’s perspective as well. Ultimately, the couple decided to part ways.
Netizens responded warmly to Kwak Si-yang’s candidness, leaving comments like, “I hope he finds a good match”, “It’s touching to see how much he cares for his parents” and “He has a sincere and genuine charm.”
