Appearing on the July 11 episode of Hi Ilbyung, a web variety show on M-Dromeda Studio’s YouTube channel, Kwon Eun-bi candidly addressed the public buzz surrounding her recent success.

Since the viral resurgence of her solo hit “Underwater”, Kwon has become a staple at Waterbomb events, captivating audiences and racking up millions of views.

In a lighthearted exchange, host Ha Sung-woon teased her about her rumored earnings, prompting Kwon to quip: “If the Waterbomb video hits 300,000 views in a month, I’ll use that money to pay for your hair transplant! I’ll transplant 3,000 strands for you.” The video has already surpassed 4 million views, heightening fan curiosity about her playful promise.

Kwon also reflected on her challenging journey in the industry. “I trained for a long time. I debuted once, but it didn’t go well, so I went back to training for about four more years. I had to rely on my parents for allowances and felt really sorry. That’s why, after earning money, I bought them a car—right after IZ_ONE disbanded.”

Recent headlines speculated that Kwon purchased a 2.4 billion KRW (approx. $1.7 million USD) property in Songjeong-dong, Seoul, solely with her Waterbomb earnings. However, Kwon set the record straight: “People think I bought the building with just my Waterbomb income, but that’s not true. What I did do was buy a car for my parents.”
