On the upcoming March 25 episode of TV Chosun’s “With Father and Me“, viewers will witness the heartfelt moment when Kim Soo-mi’s family revisits her home and uncovers her final personal belongings.
The legendary actress, who passed away suddenly in October 2024, left behind two bags containing her last keepsakes. Among them were hundreds of lottery tickets and stacks of bankbooks, sparking deep emotions in her son Jung Myung-ho and daughter-in-law Seo Hyo-rim as they explored her memories and legacy.
Also unveiled in the episode is Kim Soo-mi’s personal diary, which she had kept since first moving to Seoul at the age of 16 until shortly before her passing. “She only ever expressed her true feelings in this diary,” Seo Hyo-rim explained, revealing the deeply private nature of the journal.
Reading his late mother’s heartfelt thoughts, Jung Myung-ho couldn’t hold back his tears. “There hasn’t been a single second I’ve forgotten her. I just want to ask her to hug me once more,” he confessed in an emotional moment sure to touch viewers’ hearts.
