
Today (April 11) is the 1st anniversary of the death of the late artist Park Bo-ram, who suddenly passed away at the age of 30. According to the police, the female singer was found collapsed in the bathroom while drinking at an acquaintance’s house and was taken to a hospital, but eventually passed away.
The police asked the National Forensic Service to conduct an autopsy to determine Park’s cause of death on the same day of death, and it was confirmed that there was no sign of murder or suicide. Investigation presumed Park Bo-ram’s cause of death to be “acute alcoholism” through an autopsy. It is known that the deceased had poor health due to liver lesions and fatty liver disease during her lifetime.
Park Bo-ram’s mortuary was set up in Room 21 of the funeral hall at Asan Medical Center in Seoul at 3 p.m. on April 15th, 2024 (KST). The bright smile on her portrait broke the hearts of those who came. The portrait of the deceased is a profile picture of her in a blue dress with her hair tied up. The mortuary was set up five days after her death.

Fake news was mass-produced in connection with the death, making it even more painful for her family. Her agency announced it will continue to take stern legal action after the funeral due to this.
After the death of the deceased, her sad family history was re-examined, adding to the sadness. It turns out Park Bo-ram’s mother and father respectively passed away when she was 17 and 23 of diseases.

Born in 1994, Park Bo-ram appeared on Mnet’s audition program “Superstar K2” in 2010 and was known for her outstanding singing skills and confidence. Since then, she has been active as a singer, releasing popular songs such as “Beautiful” and “Celepretty.” She was preparing a full album to mark the 10th anniversary of her debut before her death. The deceased’s funeral was held 6 AM on April 17th, 2024, and the burial site is Seoul Memorial Park. At the funeral, various celebrities, including Heo Youngji (KARA), actress Go Eun-ah, rapper Giant Pink, and more, appeared to pay their respect. Additionally, Close artist friends including Kang Seungyoon (WINNER), Roy Kim, Park Jae-jung (Superstar K5 winner) carried the coffin to bid farewell to the late artist after a touching moment of silent tribute.
