ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama Salon de Holmes, featuring Park Ji-ah, is about four women from different backgrounds who come together to punish troublemakers in their compound.

In the drama, Park Ji-ah played Choi Seon-ja, the head of the apartment’s women’s association. Choi is a passionate leader with an obsessive drive to protect the apartment’s property value at all costs.

From episodes 1 to 4, Park Ji-ah captivated viewers with her classy appearance befitting the head of a women’s association, portraying her character’s fierce determination to defend home prices. She added vivid realism to the character by showing influence over various incidents within the apartment — embodying a figure who could easily exist in real life.

She particularly showcased delightful chemistry with Lee Si-young (who plays Kong Mi-ri), adding depth to the witty tone of the show. Park’s character promoted Lee Si-young, Jung Young-joo (Chu Kyeong-ja) and Nam Gi-ae (Jeon Ji-hyun) as heroes of the apartment, heightening viewers’ anticipation for future episodes.

One humorous moment involved her persuading Lee Si-young to resolve the issue of the overflowing trash area by intentionally making the gym, run by Lee’s husband and fitness trainer Jung Sang-hoon (Park Seung-ho), crowded — showing her comedic flair.

Salon de Holmes is Park Ji-ah’s final work. She sadly passed away from cerebral infarction in September last year after a period of illness, leaving fans in deep sorrow. Known for her impactful presence in hit works such as Epitaph, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, Masquerade, The Good Wife and The Glory, Park Ji-ah leaves behind a lasting legacy of passion for acting in her final role.

As expected, her dedicated acting brought greater excitement to the story.” True to his faith, Park delivered a powerful performance, raising expectations for the remaining episodes.
