Lee Dong-hwi Mysteriously Vanishes During Press Conference “The Struggles of a Fashionista”
On March 25, a press conference for the film “Lobby” was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Lead actor Ha Jung-woo was absent due to acute appendicitis, but cast members Kim Eui-sung, Kang Hae-lim, Lee Dong-hwi, Park Byung-eun, Kang Mal-geum, Choi Si-won, Cha Joo-young and Kwak Sun-young were present.
Following the screening, as the press conference commenced, veteran actor Kim Eui-sung was answering a question when fellow actor Lee Dong-hwi suddenly stood up and rushed out of the theater. The other cast members looked confused as Lee Dong-hwi returned moments later, dabbing his forehead with a handkerchief before calmly taking his seat again.
The reason for the sudden exit? The thick leather jacket he was wearing caused him to sweat profusely under the warm lights. Sitting beside him, actor Park Byung-eun gently touched Lee Dong-hwi’s jacket to confirm the situation and seemed to sympathize.
Despite beads of sweat rolling down like pearls, Lee Dong-hwi didn’t take off his jacket and stayed committed to his fashion choice, wrapping up the event with a striking pose.
Meanwhile, “Lobby” is a black comedy movie revolving around a man lobbying financiers and lawmakers by taking them on golf tours to win a government contract.
