“The Divorce Insurance” is a pure-guarantee office romantic comedy set in the innovative product development team of an insurance company, where the brightest minds have gathered to tackle one of today’s hottest disasters—divorce. The drama follows their journey of creating an insurance product that guarantees stability and happiness after an unexpected breakup, delivering a relatable and humorous take on adulthood and personal growth. Directed by “Killing Romance”‘s Lee Won-suk and written by Lee Tae-yoon (“Secret Royal Inspector & Joy”, “The Undateables”, “Tamra, the Island”), the drama boasts a star-studded cast featuring Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo and Lee Da-hee.

The recently revealed promotional poster captures the attention with the welcoming smiles of the Divorce Insurance team. At the forefront, Noh Ki-jun (Lee Dong-wook) confidently presents an insurance application, flanked by the equally charismatic Kang Han-deul (Lee Joo-bin), An Jeon-man (Lee Kwang-soo) and Jeon Na-rae (Lee Da-hee). The tagline on the application, “Prepare for just 27,900 KRW per month“, piques curiosity about how they will assign value to the abstract concept of divorce insurance and provide security for a fresh start.

Lee Dong-wook takes on the role of Noh Ki-jun, a seemingly perfect man with both impressive credentials and expertise. However, having gone through three divorces, he now works as an insurance accountant in the innovative product development team of Plus General Insurance. Convinced that divorce is one of life’s most unpredictable disasters, he embarks on the journey of developing a divorce insurance plan. Lee Joo-bin plays Kang Han-deul, an underwriter who found a new life after divorce. With her quirky yet charming “bbaeng-ddol” (a mix of cheerful and eccentric) personality, she joins Noh Ki-jun’s team, gaining the courage to step into the world and building a unique relationship with him.

Lee Kwang-soo portrays An Jeon-man, a risk surveyor who prioritizes safety above all. Although he pretends to be cool on the outside, he is actually quite timid. Through his struggles with the divorce insurance team, he embarks on the biggest adventure of his life. Lee Da-hee transforms into Jeon Na-rae, a financial mathematician who views the world purely through an investment lens. With no regrets about any decision she has made, she joins Noh Ki-jun’s team as a special quant consultant, gradually experiencing changes in her once-rigid life.

“The Divorce Insurance” is set to premiere on March 31st at 8:50 PM.
