The key to the drama’s success lies in the romantic chemistry between Han Ji-min and Lee Joon-hyuk. Viewers shared enthusiastic reactions like, “They look so good together”, “I wish they were really dating”… Han Ji-min is currently in a public relationship with Jannabi’s Choi Jung-hoon, yet her seamless chemistry with Lee Joon-hyuk is so convincing that it almost makes fans forget this fact.

On January 21, the YouTube channel “SBS Catch” released a behind-the-scenes video from the set of “Love Scout“.
The video featured a scene where Han Ji-min gently touches Lee Joon-hyuk’s face while he’s asleep, saying, “You’re handsome.” As the two draw closer, Han Ji-min eventually falls asleep. After finishing the scene, Han Ji-min shared “Do you know what Lee Joon-hyuk said? ‘I really thought you liked me just now’”, to which Lee Joon-hyuk replied, “That was no joke. It felt like I was experiencing acting in VR, not IMAX.”
In another segment, Lee Joon-hyuk rehearsed a scene where he applies nail polish to his on-screen daughter Byeol. Watching the production team’s demonstration, Lee Joon-hyuk tried his best to replicate the action. After the scene, both actors teased each other about their poor nail-painting skills. Han Ji-min also filmed a scene where she meets Byeol in front of a bookstore. Asking “What’s your favorite color?” and hearing Byeol respond with black, Han Ji-min exclaimed, “How chic!”
Another scene captured a silent rivalry between Lee Joon-hyuk and Kim Do-hoon over Han Ji-min. Lee Joon-hyuk stepped between Han Ji-min and Kim Do-hoon, creating a “human wall”. Han Ji-min laughed and said, “Why are you blocking the view so much?”
