Lee Na-eun Shares Update After 3 Months Following KwakTube “Support Controversy”

On December 18, Lee Na-eun posted two photos and a video on her SNS with the captions, “Love you, my little ♥” and “HI.” In the video, she appeared shy while sitting in what seemed to be a cafe, with a slice of cake in front of her, catching the attention of her followers.
Earlier, in September, Lee Na-eun’s social media accounts have all comment sections disabled. It appears that after receiving a flood of criticism following the controversy, she has decided to shut down communication channels.

Previously, on September 16, travel YouTuber KwakTube shared a video of his trip to Italy with Lee Na-eun.
During a meal in the video, KwakTube to Lee Na-eun, “I used to get really sensitive whenever the topic of school bullying came up. I even blocked (you) immediately. But I later saw an article that clarified it wasn’t true. As a victim myself, I shared a lot of thoughts on the matter, but I realized I might have caused harm to someone who was wrongly accused.”
This statement appeared to defend Lee Na-eun, sparking criticism.

After backlash directed at KwakTube, he issued two apology statements, saying, “The depth and scars of wounds are different for everyone. I arrogantly thought I could understand the issue better because I have my own scars.”
Meanwhile, Lee Na-eun’s past controversy has once again come under scrutiny. She had previously been involved in a school bullying controversy, which was later found to be untrue.
However, APRIL, the girl group to which she belonged, faced allegations of ostracizing former member Lee Hyun-joo. In response, Lee Na-eun and other APRIL members filed seven lawsuits against Lee Hyun-joo, her brother, and acquaintances, all of which ended in non-guilty verdicts.
Following these events, APRIL went through the process of disbanding, and Lee Na-eun was unable to continue her activities for some time. After a hiatus, she signed an exclusive contract with Namoo Actors in 2022 and made her comeback in the SBS drama “Flex X Cop”.
