Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon Moved from Jeju to Seoul’s Pyeongchang-dong in Late September

According to the registry, last August, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon purchased a standalone house and an adjacent plot of land in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, for 6.05 billion won, all paid in cash. The house, which consists of a basement and two floors, spans a total floor area of approximately 330 square meters. Lee Hyori holds three-fourths of the ownership, while Lee Sang Soon holds one-fourth. The interior of the house was also renovated to match the couple’s lifestyle.
Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon married in 2013 and began their life in Jeju in Sogil-ri, Aewol-eup, as newlyweds. This earned Lee Hyori the affectionate nickname “Sogildaek.” Their Jeju home was also featured in JTBC’s Hyori’s Homestay, creating many memories with the public. After the show’s popularity, their home in Sogil-ri attracted many tourists, leading the couple to move to another part of Jeju due to privacy concerns. Now, after 11 years of married life in Jeju, they are starting their first experience living in Seoul.
Earlier, Lee Sang-soon posted a photo of Lee Hyo-ri on his Instagram on February 19th along with the caption “Jeju check-out”. Since it was a picture of his wife that was released after a while, it attracted keen attention from netizens.
The released picture showed Lee Hyo-ri waving at Lee Sang-soo at Jeju International Airport. In particular, her steps and facial expressions looked light and comfortable with only a small backpack.
