In the video, Lee Min-jung asked Lee Sang-yeob, “How’s married life?” Lee Sang-yeob had tied the knot with a finance industry professional in March 2024 at the S Hotel in Seoul. His beautiful wife was revealed on KBS 2TV‘s variety show “Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant”, sparking public interest.
To this, Lee Sang-yeob replied “It’s not easy”, drawing laughter. He added, “They say couples argue a lot in the early days of marriage, but I think we’re now at the stage where we’re cautiously being considerate and trying to avoid conflict.”
When the production team mentioned “These days, a unicorn-like man is called Gwansik”, Lee Sang-yeob jokingly responded “You’re definitely Mr. Hak”, adding more laughter. Since Lee Min-jung wasn’t familiar with “When Life Gives You Tangerines”, Lee Sang-yeob explained, “Gwansik is a man who truly loves his wife and lives only for her. Mr. Hak is the opposite. So these days, if a husband pretends to be like Gwansik, wives will say, ‘You’re more like Mr. Hak.’ “
He also described his wife, saying, “She drinks well. (When we drink together), she’s the most fun.”
Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung married Lee Byung-hun in 2013. They had their first son in 2015, and welcomed a daughter in December 2023—eight years after their wedding.
