Lee Seo-jin Rules Out Marriage: “Love Is Rare, But a Car Accident Seems More Likely”

On March 8th, Lee Seo-jin appeared on the “Just on Excuse” show alongside Ji Seok-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu, engaging in a talk with Yoo Jae-suk.
During the conversation, Kim Kwang-kyu remarked, “I think living a normal life with a family is true happiness. (Lee Seo-jin) must feel lonely when he goes home.”
In response, Lee Seo-jin said, “But I enjoy being alone. I live my life feeling grateful.”

He continued, “I’ve experienced a lot of happiness in other areas of life rather than through family, so I think it’s okay to give up on that. You can’t have everything in life. I have the freedom to travel abroad and enjoy myself all the time, but I don’t have the happiness that comes from having a family. People say the greatest happiness comes from having children, but that’s something I’ll never experience.”
When Yoo Jae-suk asked, “But you’re not saying you’ll never get married, right?” Lee Seo-jin reaffirmed, “I have no intention of getting married. Unless something suddenly changes, I don’t plan to marry.”

Ji Seok-jin chimed in, “Love comes like a car accident,” to which Lee Seo-jin wittily responded, “A car accident might happen, but love doesn’t come so easily. Right now, I feel like I’ll get into a car accident before I fall in love,” making everyone laugh.
His candid remarks sparked laughter but also offered a glimpse into his contentment with a life of independence and personal fulfillment.
