Lee Yi-kyung Reveals Dark Past Of His ‘Former L Company President’ Dad, “He Got Punished Like That”
Episode 238 of MBC’s entertainment program “Hangout With Yoo?”, which aired on June 15th, showed the members being divided into two teams to complete the mission of finding a healing course for a father who was about to return to work.
Teaming up with Haha and Lee Yi-kyung, Yoo Jae-suk warned the youngest member Lee Yi-kyung, who tends to say anything, “Don’t say everything you want to say. Filter your words before saying. This is not the right era for it”. Disagreed with Yoo Jae-suk’s advice, Lee Yi-kyung asked, “Is this the Fifth Republic of Korea?”. In response, Yoo Jae-suk pointed out that their concept was in the year 1991. Recognizing the background of their concept, Lee Yi-kyung said, “Are you talking about the days when my Dad got punished and had to apply ointment?”
Later when Yoo Jae-suk scolded him, Lee Yi-kyung apologized by stretching his body out and lying on the ground. Puzzled by Lee Yi-kyung’s sudden action, Yoo Jae-suk wondered, “Why are you lying down like that in this era?”. Lee Yi-kyung explained, “You said it was in 1991”. As Yoo Jae-suk insisted, “We don’t do that now”, Lee Yi-kyung replied, “I saw my Dad do it”, drawing laughter.
