Lee Yu-bi debuted in 2011 with MBN’s drama “Vampire Idol”
It’s been revealed that Lee Yu-bi hid the fact that she is the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi-ri during the audition for “Vampire Idol” to avoid any special treatment. However, her true identity as Kyeon Mi-ri’s daughter was eventually discovered.
Lee Yu-bi graduated from Sunhwa Art Middle School, Sunhwa Art High School and majored in vocal music at Ewha Womans University. She is the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi-ri and has a younger sister, actress Lee Da-in.
In 2013, she appeared in the drama “Gu Family Book”. She has been actively working as an actress, appearing in works such as “Uncontrollably Fond” and “Somehow 18”.
Lee Yu-bi portrayed the character Ruby in “Yumi’s Cells”, displaying a cute and lively acting style.
Currently, Lee Yu-bi is starring in the drama “The Escape of the Seven”.
Having debuted over a decade ago, Lee Yu-bi mentioned in an interview with a media outlet that she used to tell herself, “It’s okay as long as I did my best; let’s do even better next time.” But now, she has developed a mindset that she will do whatever it takes to achieve the desired results.
