Leeteuk Once Confessed to Dana and Nearly Got Kicked Out of SM – Even Kim Heechul Didn’t Know

On the April 18 episode of KBS Joy’s “20th Century Hit Song,” the program featured a chart titled “Forced Comebacks: Forgotten Visual Artists.”
Coming in at No. 8 was Dana’s hit song “Until the End of the World.” While reminiscing about Dana’s visuals and popularity during her early days, co-host Lee Mi-joo revealed a surprising story, “Dana was cast at an amusement park when she was in 6th grade,” which amazed the audience.

Lee Mi-joo then dropped a bombshell, “Apparently, one of the Super Junior members used to have a crush on another senior artist.” This stunned Kim Heechul, who was present.
The person in question? Leeteuk.
Lee Mi-joo continued, “He really liked her and even confessed his feelings. But because of that, a company staff member told him not to come to the office anymore. He eventually submitted five pages of handwritten reflection letters before he was allowed to return as a trainee. Leeteuk himself revealed this on a broadcast.”
The anecdote took fans by surprise especially since even fellow member Kim Heechul claimed he had no idea.
