Lim Ji-yeon Faces Hate Comments after Cheering for Jung Woo-sung

On November 29, at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards, actor Jung Woo-sung appeared in public for the first time since it was revealed that he has a son with model Moon Ga-bi. 

Here, the actor addressed his recent “scandal”, apologizing for causing concern and assuring that he will “take full responsibility” for his son.

Upon hearing Jung Woo-sung’s speech, Lim Ji-yeon, alongside many others, applauded and cheered for the actor. However, this simple action led to Lim Ji-yeon facing heavy backlash on her SNS account. 

Under her most recent Instagram posts, various hate comments criticizing the actress can be seen, with some even comparing the actress to her villainous character in “The Glory”.

• Seeing you cheer on Jung Woo-sung was incredibly disappointing. You didn’t think about your fans
• Moon Ga-bi used to be a fellow female celebrity. Did you think about her and her 2 years in pain when you cheered for Jung Woo-sung? I felt great disappointment seeing your action. 
• Why did you have to cheer for him? Did you find his bare minimum of taking responsibility for his child so great it deserves clapping?
• You have seriously let your fans down

At the same time, there have been people showing support for Lim Ji-yeon, arguing that her action doesn’t have to be so severely criticized.

Meanwhile, Jung Woo-sung was also accused of three-timing during the time he got Moon Ga-bi pregnant.
