Lim Ji-yeon “I Was an Attention-Seeker in School + Mistakenly Thought Others Liked Me”
On July 27th, the 52nd episode titled “Connections Are Just an Excuse” was broadcast on the YouTube channel “Ddeun Ddeun”. Guests included actresses Jeon Do-yeon and Lim Ji-yeon, who are promoting their upcoming film “Revolver”.
During the broadcast, MC Yoo Jae-suk asked Lim Ji-yeon if she was popular during her school days. She responded, “I was a bit of an attention-seeker. I wasn’t very popular, but I wanted to be. I craved popularity.”
When Yoo Jae-suk asked “Were you the type to say, ‘Do you like me?’“, Lim Ji-yeon laughed and admitted, “Yes, I would go around saying, ‘I think that person likes me.’“
Meanwhile, “Revolver” tells the story of Soo-young (played by Jeon Do-yeon), a former police officer who was imprisoned for crimes she didn’t commit. After her release, she single-mindedly pursues a single goal. The film is set to be released on August 7th.
