Lim Ji-yeon Humiliated at First Meeting with Kim Hye-yoon: “I Looked So Shameful”
On the June 8 episode of Fresh off the Sea 2, actress Lim Ji Yeon was hilariously caught off guard by an unexpected guest Kim Hye-yoon, who arrived early in the morning during the cast’s trip to Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province.
The show’s “sibling quartet,” consisting of Yeom Jung-ah, Park Joon-myeon, Lim Ji-yeon, and Lee Jae-wook, had turned in early the night before to prepare for a dawn octopus fishing session. But before their alarms could ring, the serene morning was shaken by the arrival of Kim Hye-yoon, who had a special connection with several cast members.
Hoping not to disturb them, Kim Hye-yoon quietly walked into the house after being dropped off some distance away. Upon entering, she sweetly called out, “Mom,” prompting Yeom Jung-ah to spring awake and respond in character from SKY Castle, “Yeseo, why are you here? You should be studying!”
The surprise didn’t stop there. As the others scrambled awake, Lim Ji-yeon dove under her blanket, mortified. “This is the worst look for a first meeting… I’m so ashamed,” she muttered, sparking laughter. Park Joon-myeon chimed in humorously, “Great, this is how I meet her for the first time too.”
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-yoon showed off her natural chemistry with Lee Jae-wook, whom she co-starred with in Extraordinary You. As she gently tried to wake him, he sleepily ignored her, prompting her to laugh and joke, “Seriously? Sleep well, Jae-wook.”
