BLACKPINK continues to captivate global audiences with their highly successful “DEADLINE” Tour, following the group’s recent comeback with their music video Jump, their first collective release since Born Pink (2022). As part of the ongoing global tour, BLACKPINK delivers a high-energy set of over two hours, featuring iconic hits from their debut to the present day.

However, while fans have praised the group’s return and performance stamina, member Lisa has once again found herself at the center of heated debate this time, due to her provocative outfit and choreography.

During a recent concert, as the group performed a dance break for “Pretty Savage,” Lisa turned her back to the audience, bent forward, and executed a fluid and sensual hip movement that drew screams from the crowd. While the choreography itself impressed many, her choice of outfit quickly became a flashpoint online.

Lisa wore ultra-short shorts pulled high on the hips, revealing a significant portion of her lower body. Over the shorts, she wore a pleated skirt that many viewers felt was too short to serve any practical purpose adding to the perception that the outfit was designed purely for shock value. While some fans praised Lisa’s confidence and body-positive image, others felt the outfit crossed the line, especially in a concert setting where many attendees are underage.

This is not the first time Lisa’s attire has sparked debate. Since her departure from YG Entertainment, Lisa has embraced a bolder, more Western-influenced fashion style, often reminiscent of artists from the US-UK pop scene. Many interpret her fashion evolution as a deliberate move toward artistic freedom and self-expression.

Earlier this year, Lisa made headlines at the 2025 Met Gala, appearing in a daring “no-pants” ensemble that exposed much of her backside, sparking controversy over embroidered thong details. She also received criticism for her attire during Coachella 2025, where her performance outfit was deemed too revealing. In another incident at a private party in March, Lisa’s sharply cut outfit once again drew mixed reactions for showcasing her curves without restraint.

Lisa, however, appears unfazed by criticism. Through her bold styling and performances, she seems to signal a new chapter in her career one where she prioritizes authenticity, agency, and creative freedom over public approval.
