On November 14, US music media Billboard published an interview with BLACKPINK’s Lisa, where the female idol discussed various topics, including plans for future activities, both as a member of BLACKPINK and as a solo artist.
In particular, Lisa first confirmed that BLACKPINK will be reuniting for a group comeback in 2025, saying, “I can’t wait”, at the same time suggesting that the exact plans for this reunion remains to be determined.
However, the female idol was most confused by news that BLACKPINK will be embarking on a world tour in the following year.
When the tour topic was mentioned, Lisa squinted and conveyed skepticism, asking, ““That’s what they say?”
On top of this, Alice Kang, who is working with Lisa and LLOUD and in charge of many activities of the BLACKPINK member, also insisted that she doesn’t know about the world tour plan, adding, “We’ll have to wait and see what YG confirms.”
Then, when asked about how she will juggle her group obligations and solo ventures, Lisa simply answered that’s something “we’re going to figure out as we go”.
Finally, Lisa admitted that she doesn’t have plans to tour on her own, and that she doesn’t think she can until she has a finished body of work. Therefore, she now just fully focusing on her upcoming solo album.
“It’s so embarrassing to say this,” the female idol says when asked what music she has been enjoying lately, adding, “but I listen to my album. I’m trying to figure it out, the track list and everything, what I can change in there.”
“Everything’s there,” she says. “I think they’re going to be shocked at how capable I am [at] doing so many things.”
