LLOUD Criticized for Unprofessionalism during BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s Solo Comeback

On the morning of June 28, BLACKPINK’s Lisa released her solo comeback music video, “ROCKSTAR”. Prior to this, fans were excited when the LLOUD YouTube channel—affiliated with Lisa’s company—posted a live countdown for the MV release. Many hoped Lisa would make an appearance to welcome the MV.

However, after 30 minutes of waiting, many international fans expressed confusion as the video turned out to be completely pointless. The video’s thumbnail only featured Lisa and “ROCKSTAR,” without a countdown clock. Moreover, two members of Lisa’s company team accidentally revealed their conversation on the livestream.

Although no sensitive comments were made, one of them had to speak up upon realizing their conversation was audible, saying, “Mute the channel, the fans can hear you.”

Furthermore, the countdown livestream was “turned on and off” three consecutive times, which further frustrated international fans due to the unprofessional behavior of Lisa’s company staff.

On top of this, despite Lisa having a huge fanbase in China, it was revealed that LLOUD was unable to sign a country with Chinese music platforms for digital sales, leading to “ROCKSTAR” not being able for purchase in the country.

This greatly frustrates fans, who leave comments such as, “Her team needs to be useful”, and “Hire a professional not an amateur staff, Lisa… First YouTube, now this”.
