The fictional band ECLIPSE from the drama ‘Lovely Runner’ is reportedly set to perform in real life?
According to an exclusive report by Korean media outlet iplus, Byeon Woo Seok and the fictional band ECLIPSE from the drama “Lovely Runner” are set to perform at KCON in Los Angeles, USA in July.
The report further states that on June 3, the four members of ECLIPSE – Byeon Woo Seok, Lee Seung Hyeop, Moon Xion, and Yang Hyuk – discussed their potential performance at KCON LA, which is scheduled to take place from July 26 to 28. This news has sent fans into a frenzy as it would mark ECLIPSE’s first real-life performance after their debut in the drama.
However, just as fans were getting excited, a CJ ENM official made an official statement to SPOTV News, confirming that “there are no plans for ECLIPSE to appear at KCON.”
ECLIPSE, formed within the drama “Lovely Runner”, has released four songs: “Sudden Shower,” “Run Run,” “You & I,” and “We Will Meet.” Among these, “Sudden Shower” reached No. 4 on South Korea’s Melon Music Chart, surpassing many established artists. The popularity of Byeon Woo Seok and ECLIPSE has fueled fan anticipation for a real-life performance.
KCON is a prominent Korean music event organized by CJ ENM. The event has been held in various regions worldwide, starting in Irvine, USA in 2012. This year, the event is scheduled to take place in a total of 5 regions, with only Los Angeles being the location in question for ECLIPSE’s potential appearance.
With the official statement from the organizing body, fans have been left disappointed as the news of Byeon Woo Seok and ECLIPSE performing in real life turned out to be inaccurate. Prior to this, the drama’s producer also stated, “We currently have no plans for ECLIPSE to appear on music shows.”
