Last October, Lee Min-woo appeared on Channel A’s “Best Friend Talk Documentary Table For 4” and shared, “Celebrities easily become scam targets. They get scammed by close acquaintances rather than strangers.”
In particular, he shocked everyone by saying, “In my case, I not only experienced deception but also severe gaslighting. I was severely gaslighted.” He stated that his acquaintance coveted his money and approached him in a planned manner.

He added, “Despite knowing the malicious intent to swindle money, I fell into it. Looking back now, it wasn’t really my life. I was under some sort of control. I even thought about dying.” He concluded, “Thinking of my family helped me regain my composure.“
