Man Who Exposed Girlfriend’s Pregnancy With Son Heung-min Says “NDA Demanded ₩3 Billion Compensation”

On May 16, JTBC’s “Scandal Supervisor” revealed, “About a month ago, a man contacted us claiming that a current national football player had gotten a Korean woman in her 20s pregnant and pressured her to get an abortion.” The man also claimed he had evidence such as KakaoTalk messages and medical records.

However, when asked to send the evidence, contact with him was lost. The reason for the tip-off, according to the man, was simply: “Tell Son Heung-min to eat X.”
According to the recording disclosed by “Scandal Supervisor”, the man stated, “I accidentally found screenshots and photos of large money transfers on my girlfriend’s phone, and there was an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with both of their fingerprints on it. When I asked her, she said she had an abortion and signed the NDA. This happened in June last year. That guy has a clean image as a national player, but I’m exposing this so both of them can eat X.”

He further claimed, “The NDA had no expiration — it was indefinite, valid until death — and it listed ₩3 billion in compensation.”
The “Scandal Supervisor” team reported, “The man and woman who blackmailed Son Heung-min over the pregnancy are currently under investigation, and warrants are expected to be requested tomorrow. While the man claimed he never demanded money, it appears he revealed the information after failing to get what he wanted.”

According to confirmation from Son Heung-min’s side, the woman in her 20s — reportedly working in the modeling industry — did have a romantic relationship with Son. In June last year, she told him she was pregnant. When they met to talk, she asked for money, and Son transferred ₩300 million.
Afterward, the man in his 40s persistently contacted Son Heung-min’s agency, demanding that the NDA terms be altered. When the agency continuously rejected the demands, the threats intensified. This led to the agency informing Son, who then decided to file a legal complaint.

Meanwhile, the police visited the OB-GYN clinic mentioned to verify the woman’s claim. It has been confirmed that she was diagnosed as pregnant, but it has not been confirmed whether the baby was Son Heung-min’s.
Son Heung-min is a prominent figure in South Korea, celebrated for his accomplishments with Tottenham in the English Premier League and his leadership of the national team. He has previously stated his intention to focus solely on his football career until retirement.
The case underscores the vulnerabilities public figures face and the importance of legal recourse in combating defamation and blackmail.
