In the released chat, Sangchu reached out to check in on Wheesung, who responded with warmth and familiarity, saying, “It’s been a while, Mr. Choo.” Touched by the exchange, Sangchu asked again, “I was wondering how you’ve been, so I reached out. We should meet up sometime?” Wheesung then replied, “Of course, we should meet up.”
Despite their recent interaction, which showed no signs of distress, Wheesung’s sudden passing has left his loved ones in deep shock. Grappling with the heartbreaking news, Sangchu simply wrote, “Wheesung…”—a short yet poignant message that conveyed the weight of his grief.
The next day, on March 11, Sangchu continued to mourn his friend by posting an old photo of them together on social media. Alongside the picture, he left a brief yet devastatingly emotional message, “I’m sorry.”
