According to MTNewsToday and several Myanmar media outlets, rescue teams have discovered the body of a young woman beneath the rubble of the Sky Villa apartment complex in Mandalay, Myanmar, following the recent earthquake. She was reportedly wearing a white shirt, long trousers, and was still holding her purse at the time of discovery.

Authorities later confirmed her identity as Sili Mee, who won the Miss Tourism Myanmar title in 2018 and went on to represent her country at the Miss Tourism World competition the same year, as well as at the Miss Tourism Intercontinental 2019 held in China.

The devastating news has since been confirmed by Blessed Entertainment, the official organizer of the Miss Tourism Myanmar pageant. The agency expressed their deep condolences to Sili Mee’s family, stating that her body will be transported to Yangon, where her funeral will be conducted in accordance with religious traditions.

The news has left fans and the wider beauty pageant community heartbroken. Many have taken to social media to express their sorrow, sharing stunning images of Sili Mee in traditional attire and remembering her cheerful, youthful presence.
