In the May 24th broadcast of JTBC’s variety show Knowing Bros (Episode 483), (G)I-DLE appeared as guests.
On the show, Lee Soo-geun said, “This is going around the internet, so I prepared it myself” and pulled out an old photo from the time when Miyeon‘s dream was to become a “femme fatale entertainer”. Miyeon looked flustered and asked if it was from her middle school days, but clarified, “It’s from elementary school.”
Miyeon then declared with frustration, “I really want to find the friend who leaked my graduation photo.” She added that the photo has been “hot for five years” and expressed, “I just want to say one thing: because of you, it’s been really hard.”
When given a chance to send a video message before “catching” the culprit, Miyeon said, “Hey friend, did I do something wrong to you?”—bringing laughter.
Despite her light-hearted tone, the segment showcased Miyeon’s ability to laugh at herself and connect with fans over the universal embarrassment of childhood photos going viral.
