Later, in May of the same year, Moon Ga-bi appeared on MBC Every1’s “Video Star”, where she candidly discussed misunderstandings regarding tanning and plastic surgery. She clarified, “It’s a misunderstanding to say I never tanned. What I meant was that my naturally dark skin didn’t require tanning, but I do enjoy tanning.” She also admitted to undergoing plastic surgery, stating, “I only had surgery on my eyes. That’s it for my face. I do makeup that looks almost like plastic surgery. My plump lips are natural.”
Subsequently, pre-surgery photos of Moon Ga-bi spread rapidly online. Her appearance before surgery garnered attention for its pure and innocent beauty, even topping real-time search rankings at the time.
Meanwhile, Moon Ga-bi, born in 1989, is a pure Korean and not of mixed heritage. She reportedly first met Jung Woo-sung in 2022, though they were not in a relationship and had only met a few times.
