Moon Ga-bi, who gained popularity for her looks during her appearance on “Get It Beauty” in 2018, had ceased all public activities, including social media, since 2022. After two years of silence, she shared an update, revealing she had given birth.
Moon Gabi expressed, “This isn’t just my story anymore. But when I look at my baby, who fills my heart with love despite my flaws, I’ve decided to focus on being a healthy and happy mom, full of love instead of aiming for perfection. I truly want to give my child a life filled with love, happiness, and good health. I want to show them only the bright and beautiful side of the world that I’ve seen, and to do that, I know I need to be brave. With this little one who has brought me a whole new world, I’ll move forward step by step, walking together.”
Four years after her hiatus, Moon Ga-bi announced she had become a mother but did not mention the child’s father, sparking public curiosity. Two days later, Jung Woo-sung was revealed as the father. The two reportedly met in 2022, and Moon Ga-bi informed him of her pregnancy in June last year. The child, born in March, is still the subject of ongoing parenting discussions, according to Jung Woo-sung’s agency.
Artist Company, Jung Woo-sung’s agency, confirmed, “The child that Ms. Moon Ga-bi revealed on social media is indeed Jung Woo-sung’s biological child. Discussions are ongoing to decide the best approach to parenting, and as a father, he will take full responsibility for the child.” However, the agency declined to comment on the timing of the birth, the nature of Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi’s relationship, or any plans for marriage.
Close associates of the pair were aware that Jung Woo-sung was Moon Ga-bi’s son’s biological father. After Moon Ga-bi’s hiatus, during which she became pregnant and gave birth, they chose to remain silent, recognizing that the relationship between the two required clarification.
