Moon Ga-young Reveals New Drama “Seocho-dong” with Lee Jong-suk and Ryu Hye-young: “We’re Having So Much Fun”
Moon Ga-young is already onto her next big role and she’s loving every moment of it. Following the massive success of her recent series My Dearest Nemesis, which topped OTT charts in 136 countries, Moon confirmed she’s deep into filming for her next drama Seocho-dong.
Appearing on the April 9 episode of tvN’s variety show You Quiz on the Block (Episode 288), Moon Ga-young gave viewers a warm update on both her current projects and behind-the-scenes stories.
MC Yoo Jae-suk congratulated her on her soaring popularity, saying, “There’s a lot to congratulate you on. The drama ‘My Dearest Nemesis’ has become a huge hit.” The actress beamed as she replied, “Thank you.”
But the excitement didn’t stop there. Co-host Jo Se-ho playfully teased, “At this point, you’re basically tvN’s daughter,” to which Moon laughed and agreed, “That’s right. I’m currently filming ‘Seocho-dong’.”
“Seocho-dong” features Moon Ga-young alongside Lee Jong-suk and Ryu Hye-young. It is scheduled to premiere on tvN in the first half of 2025. When asked to describe the upcoming series, Moon shared, “It’s a story about lawyers, and I’m currently filming with Jong-suk oppa and Hye-young unnie, and we’re having a lot of fun together.”
Though few details about Seocho-dong have been revealed, fans are already hyped, especially with such a star-studded cast and Moon’s recent track record of hit performances. With her infectious energy and chemistry with co-stars, anticipation for the legal drama is building fast. Stay tuned Seocho-dong might just be tvN’s next breakout hit.
