According to Nielsen Korea, the 12th episode of JTBC’s “My Name Is Gabriel”, which aired on September 20th, recorded a mere 1.2% among nationwide paid households.

Despite Dex being a rising star in the entertainment scene, “Gabriel” has not managed to break free from its low ratings. The show garnered attention as a new program from PD Kim Tae-ho, featuring a star-studded lineup including Park Myung-soo, Park Bo-gum, Hong Jin-kyung, Ji Chang-wook and Yeom Hye-ran. However, it has consistently hovered around 1%, with a peak of 1.5% and a low of 0.9%.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie will soon join the cast. Many are curious whether her presence will help lift the ratings.

Jennie initially turned down an offer to appear on “Gabriel”, but she recently confirmed her participation. Her segments will air in episodes 13 on September 27th and 14 on October 4th.

Viewers are particularly interested in Jennie’s experience of living someone else’s life on the other side of the world, where no one knows her. She will showcase her life as a 1996-born innkeeper, from picking up guests to cooking and preparing for events, offering a unique charm to the show.
