On May 23, Band Nah’s Na Sang-hyun posted on his personal account, stating, “I deeply apologize for the delay in addressing this matter. Due to excessive drinking in the past, I don’t clearly recall the specific circumstances, but I caused harm to the victim.” This was his official apology following the allegations.

He continued, “I am even more sorry for not directly apologizing to the victim at the time. I sincerely apologize through this platform, albeit late. I know it’s overdue, but I would like to offer a personal apology now. If it’s alright, I kindly request a private message. I earnestly ask that secondary harm to the victim be avoided.”

Na Sang-hyun further stated, “About three or four years ago, after being called out for my behavior while intoxicated, I deeply reflected and, with the help of those around me, have been working to improve. I will continue to reflect deeply and ensure such incidents do not happen again, but I once again apologize to the person who felt uncomfortable. I also apologize to everyone affected by this matter. I feel an even heavier burden for acting in a way that contradicts the values I have expressed.” He reiterated his apology.

Previously, an online post alleged that Na Sang-hyun had sexually harassed someone. The accuser wrote, “At a gathering, he touched the thigh of the woman sitting next to him, pretending to be drunk. If the woman was intoxicated, he kept his hand there, but if she was sober and reacted, he acted surprised and claimed it was a mistake.” The post added, “I’m writing based on what I experienced and heard. I’m keeping it vague to avoid identifying details.”
