On the March 26 episode of tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block“, Nam Bo Ra appeared as a guest along with her younger sibling Nam Se Bin.

Seventh sibling Nam Se Bin said, “If someone asked me ‘Would you be born as one of 13 siblings again in your next life?’, I would answer without hesitation, ‘Yes.’ Although we grew up in tough conditions, those moments are what shaped our family.

Nam Se Bin continued, “Even if I’m born as the seventh child again, wearing hand-me-downs from older siblings, showering with cold water in the harsh winters, sharing just 5 packs of ramen between 10 of us during hungry days, or experiencing the heartbreaking loss of loved ones I’d still want to go through all those moments with my family. Because we’re stronger than anyone and truly love one another.

Her words deeply moved Nam Bo Ra, who recalled, “When we were little, we weren’t in a comfortable environment. There were times when our water, gas and electricity were all cut off. We had to use candles. Since we didn’t have hot water, we boiled water on a gas burner in the morning just to wash our faces before going to school. We really did share 5 packs of ramen among all of us.

Nam Bo Ra added “Despite all that, none of us ever complained. It was tough, but I think because we endured so well back then, our family is now so tightly bonded. My siblings think I sacrificed a lot, but I hope they don’t feel sorry about it”, proudly expressing her love for her family.
