On July 8, the YouTube channel Salon Drip released an episode featuring Nana, the star of the film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, as a guest.
During the episode, Nana exuded a free-spirited and confident charm, sharing various anecdotes. She said, “I search my name every day and read all the articles. I check every story I’m tagged in, like them all, and if I really love something, I repost it to my story right away.” She added, “I’m grateful when people recognize me on the street. When I go to clubs and hang out, I end up surrounded by women. I don’t know why, but I seem to be really popular with women,” she joked, drawing laughs.

Nana also showcased her chemistry with host Jang Do-yeon while taking Salon Four Cuts (photo booth pictures). When Nana playfully puckered her lips, a shy Jang Do-yeon turned her head for a cheek kiss, creating a fresh and lively Salon Four Cuts pose that sparked an enthusiastic response on set.

Nana also opened up about her full-body tattoos and her upcoming solo album. She shared, “I’ve removed almost all my tattoos. I’m pretty good at handling pain, so it was bearable. I didn’t use numbing cream because it’s such a hassle—you have to apply it and wait three or four hours, and that time felt like a waste.” She continued, “The most painful areas were near the bones, like the chest line, ribs, and top of the foot. I kept only one tattoo—’1968,’ the year my mom was born. I wanted to keep that one.”
Nana explained that she decided to remove her tattoos at her mother’s request. “After some time, my mom cautiously asked if I’d consider removing them, and I said I could. Not many people have a mom like mine. She’s so open-minded. She drinks with my friends, goes to karaoke, and even hits the clubs with us. Last December 31, we danced together at a club and welcomed the new year. I want to be like her—she’s always teaching me something,” Nana said, expressing her admiration.

She also hinted at her solo debut, stating, “I’m preparing a solo album. It’s been delayed for a while, and I’ve always regretted not releasing one as a singer. When I switched agencies, they suggested it, and I’m writing the songs and working on the music video concepts and storyboards. It’ll be music that reflects my style.” She added, “I’m trying a concept I’ve never done before. I know fans are eagerly waiting, so I wanted to share it here. It’s not set yet, but I’m aiming for August or September at the latest. It’s fun because I’m doing what I love.”
