On the June 6 episode of MBC’s I Live Alone, Doyoung‘s daily life was featured.
During the episode, Doyoung was seen visiting a hospital. He shocked everyone by saying, “I was prescribed antibiotics when I was sick, but I had an allergic reaction that day and ended up in the emergency room. That’s why I decided I needed to get an allergy test.”
He continued, “Not long ago, I was suffering from a cold. I was prescribed cold medicine, but suddenly my throat started to swell, I couldn’t breathe properly, and my chest felt tight. It didn’t just happen briefly—it kept getting worse, so I went to the ER. They told me it was likely an antibiotic allergy.”
Fortunately, the allergy test results did not indicate any major issues. The doctor explained, “When your immune system is weakened, even substances that were normally fine can trigger allergic reactions.”
Fans expressed concern but were relieved to hear that Doyoung is recovering well. His candid revelation served as a reminder of the importance of paying close attention to one’s health and potential allergic symptoms.
