NCT’s Jaehyun has recently become the subject of online criticism due to resurfaced dating rumors involving BLACKPINK’s Rosé.
Previously, Rosé released her latest solo album, “rosie”, with the title track “toxic till the end” depicting a toxic relationship. Additionally, Rosé has acknowledged that the song’s lyrics draw from her personal experiences, prompting fans and netizens to speculate about the identity of the ex-partner referenced in the song.
In fact, various people have been accused of being Rosé’s “toxic ex” in the past, even including BTS’s Jungkook. However, as an alleged former staff of YG released various leaked content of BLACKPINK, including an unreleased MV, they also accused that Rosé’s toxic ex is Jaehyun.
While the accusation didn’t mention a group name, it sparked speculation that NCT’s Jaehyun was the ex in question, leading to various people spamming under the male idol’s SNS posts with comments such as “You broke Rosé’s heart?” and “So you are Rosé’s ex”. Some even left middle finger and barfing emojis as if to insult Jaehyun.
Additionally, several referenced Rosé’s lyrics with Tiffany ring and accused of Jaehyun of being the ex that stole the female idol’s jewelry, despite Rosé previously clarified that this was not a real incident.
In response, supporters of Jaehyun have rallied to his defense, emphasizing the lack of concrete evidence supporting the dating rumors and urging others to refrain from spreading unverified information. They have flooded his social media with positive messages to counteract the negativity.
