As 4th gen girl groups that debuted in the same year, NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM have enjoyed their respective successes. However, the two groups recently crashed after NewJeans’ creator, Min Hee-jin, publicly accused HYBE of using her name to promote LE SSERAFIM and letting LE SSERAFIM debut before NewJeans.
Due to the intense ongoing conflict, many people wondered how the members of the two groups would react when they met, and it finally happened.
Particularly, NewJeans recently made a comeback with their double single “How Sweet” & “Bubble Gum” and had their first promotional stage on Music Bank. Coincidentally, LE SSERAFIM’s youngest member, Eunchae, is an MC for this music show.
In the behind-the-scenes interview, NewJeans greeted Eunchae and the other members, and Eunchae interacted warmly with the fellow HYBE idols, even shaking hands and cheering them on.
Seeing the young girls support each other despite all the drama anger netizens, who are frustrated that the adults’ conflict had impacted the idols.
