On March 15, Jennie held the “The Ruby Experience” show to commemorate the release of her first solo full-length album “Ruby” at Incheon Inspire Arena. Jennie’s concert tour began in Los Angeles at the Peacock Theater on March 6~7, continued in New York’s Radio City Music Hall on March 10 and concluded with this final show in Incheon.
This concert was a highly anticipated event, as it showcased 15 tracks from “Ruby”, an album filled with Jennie’s personal stories. Fans were eager to see how Jennie would bring her unique style and artistic vision to life on stage.

Her previous U.S. performances had already made headlines for impressive live vocals, bold outfits and an unfiltered stage presence, which sparked both admiration and controversy. This further heightened expectations for her Korean concert.

However, despite the excitement surrounding Jennie’s performance, the night ended up being more about NewJeans than Jennie. On various online communities, the most viral photos and videos from the event weren’t of Jennie’s performance—they were of NewJeans attending the concert.
The atmosphere at Inspire Arena was initially calm and filled with anticipation. But then, just before the concert started, everything descended into chaos—because NewJeans walked in.

The second NewJeans appeared, the previously quiet audience erupted into chaos. Fans immediately stood up, grabbed their phones and started filming. Security staff rushed to restore order, repeatedly shouting, “Please sit down!” and “No standing!” But their pleas were drowned out by the deafening cheers and screams.
NewJeans took their seats directly facing the stage, basking in the overwhelming attention and admiration of the audience. Throughout the night, other celebrities also attended the concert, but none caused such a dramatic reaction. While it’s understandable that international fans might get excited at seeing K-pop idols up close, NewJeans’ presence completely dominated the pre-show atmosphere, overshadowing everything else.

As NewJeans entered, they waved and smiled at fans, engaging in fan service even before the show began. Later, when they exited just before the encore, they did so under dimmed lights, but their departure was far from subtle. Surrounded by staff, they moved as a large group, once again drawing attention.
Even as they left, NewJeans continued waving and smiling at fans, creating yet another viral moment—ironically, at Jennie’s own concert. Unfortunately, Jennie’s actual performance also faced multiple issues, leading to mixed reactions. Ultimately, Jennie’s long-awaited solo concert became less about her music and more about the celebrities in attendance—with NewJeans being the unexpected stars of the night.
