NewJeans Floods New Instagram After Leaving ADOR: “Waiting For This Day Only”

On December 15, the members of NewJeans posted 4 posts and 12 stories within the morning alone.

Through the posts, the members shared photos of their daily lives, and member Minji caught attention by writing in the caption, “I’ve been waiting for this day only.”

In the stories, Hanni recorded playful moments, including photos and videos taken aboard the plane. She also asked, “Can Bunnies (the fandom) handle our Instagram?”

Earlier, on December 14, NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein opened an Instagram account named ‘jeanzforfree’.

At the time, the members introduced themselves through the stories, saying, “We are real,” and mentioned that they had pre-ordered drinks and meals for the Bunnies attending a rally in Yeouido that day, telling them to “make sure to eat well.“

Meanwhile, NewJeans held an emergency press conference on the 28th of last month to announce the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR. Following this, ADOR filed a lawsuit on the 3rd to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.

Despite their split from ADOR, NewJeans continued with their scheduled activities, including guest appearances at the Japanese duo YOASOBI’s concert on the 7th, but they have not referred to themselves as ‘NewJeans’ since the announcement.
