The YouTube channel Kang & Park Law Office, known for its clear and rational coverage of the ADOR–NewJeans dispute, is gaining widespread attention and racking up high view counts.

Kang & Park Law Office features Kang Ho-seok and Park Gun-ho, two attorneys with 15 years of experience and backgrounds in the rigorous Korean bar exam. Though the channel was launched just over a year ago, it recently drew public interest for its video analysis of the court’s decision related to the NewJeans legal case.

In a recent video, the two lawyers discussed the court’s decision on March 21 to grant ADOR’s injunction request against the five NewJeans members. The injunction sought to prohibit the members from signing advertising contracts or acting as a group outside the agency’s purview.

They explained, “It’s important to understand the significance of this injunction. It’s an incredibly powerful injunction. Most injunction requests aren’t granted, especially since approving one effectively halts an artist’s activities. That’s considered harsh, so courts usually don’t allow it. However, the court saw no serious wrongdoing on ADOR’s part that would justify terminating the contract. That’s what this ruling reflects.”

They directly addressed the group, saying, “Return. There’s no legal path to victory for you.”

They continued, “Do you remember Min Hee-jin’s first injunction case, the famous one where the court sided with her? The same bench handled both that case and ADOR’s recent injunction. These judges understand the nature of this dispute better than anyone. That’s why this injunction is so meaningful, it’s not your average ruling.”

“This is a massive industry, worth hundreds of billions of won. Everything operates based on contractual obligations. The fact that this ruling came at the injunction stage, without even going to trial, means the case is virtually settled. The court has decided that the reasons given by the members for terminating the contract are not valid grounds. You must honor the contract period. The company invested massive sums during that time. If you had achieved success without such investment, perhaps there’d be room for discussion. But saying, ‘Now that we’re successful, we’ll go elsewhere’, that holds no legal ground.”

They added, “This ruling should serve as a wake-up call. Now is the time for Min Hee-jin and the NewJeans members to go their separate ways. The court is giving the members an opportunity to realize, through legal advice, that their interests no longer align with Min Hee-jin’s.”

The video has surpassed 110,000 views, drawing strong support from viewers, who described it as “refreshing” and praised the hosts for “getting straight to the point.”

Another recently uploaded video on the same channel surpassed 60,000 views in just four days, showing continued public engagement.

In the new video, titled “NewJeans → NJZ → mhdhh(?): Rift Among Parents, Fanbase Division, Rejected Objection to Injunction… Is Recovery Possible?”, the hosts commented, “We predicted this fallout. The group is collapsing on all fronts—image-wise, legally, financially, and personally. Even if they’re young, surely some members or their parents are starting to think, ‘Something’s not right here.’ They’re racing full-speed toward a cliff.”

They also criticized the legal choices made by NewJeans’ side: “The members hiring the same law firm as Min Hee-jin was a mistake. Legal professionals should offer diverse perspectives, even if there’s a risk of losing the case. But with the same firm and even the same attorneys, how can they receive separate, impartial legal advice? That, we believe, is one of the key reasons this situation has gone so wrong.”
